Nas, 2 Chainz, Atmospher, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Naughty By Nature, Missy Elliot and Timbaland, Kid Cudi, Salt-N-Pepa, Wiz Khalifa, Murs and Fashawn — bringing together all these in one billing happens just once in a lifetime, and it can happen only here at  Rock The Bells 2012!

This annual hip hop festival started in 2004 in Southern California, but has travelled and was brought to concert stages all around the world over the years.  With a yearly line-up of high-profile hip hop artists, it’s hard not to take notice of the dazzling bling-blings, the infectious bumpin’, grindin’, and shakin’, and the above all, the clanging beats and rhythms of hip hop, soul, rnb, rap, and everything else in between.

Chang Weisberg, one of the founding members of the Gueriila Union, which organizes this annual hip hop music summit, says in an interview with HipHopDX.com, that “Hip Hop was divided into groups and sub-groups more often than not. Rock the Bells is providing a sense of unity…”.  Weisberg continues, “I think people really disarm themselves when they come to Rock the Bells. Whatever the issues might be prior to stepping into our facility, it’s like you walk into a room and you’re like, “Hey, there’s Ghostface, Method Man, Q-Tip,Ice Cube!” So you kind of turn artists back into fans. I think that’s when that magic hits them in the heart.”

Rock The Bells can really make some noize and bring the house down. In fact, for the first time in nine years, Rock The Bells will be a two-day festival, to accomodate the growing multitude of hip hop disciples who make a yearly pilgrimage to be part of one of hip hop music’s greatest milestones.
