When psychedelic jam-rock legends Bob Weir (guitar), Mickey Hart (drums), and Bill Kreutzmann (drums) from the Grateful Dead teamed up with Grammy Award-winning singer and guitarist John Mayer Grammy Award-winning virtuoso bassist Oteil Burbridge, and Bob Weir & RatDog band member Jeff Chimenti to form Dead And Company, something magical happened… Now, this epic supergroup comes to Shoreline Amphitheatre on Sunday 4th June 2017 for a night of spectacular music and good vibes!
Fronted by Grammy Award-winning guitarist, singer and songwriter John Mayer, and featuring three members of the Grateful Dead, Dead and Company is a supergroup that was formed in 2015. Four years previously, Mayer had been invited to host The Late, Late Show, where he met, performed, and bonded with Bob Weir. Mayer became obsessed with the Grateful Dead, dedicating himself to learning the band's back catalog in time for a stand alone concert on October 31 at Madison Square Garden in New York. When the response from fans turned out to be overwhelmingly positive, they added a further 21 shows and developed it into a full tour.
