The heaviest names in rock and roll are back on the road! KISS and Mötley Crüe join forces for an extensive tour across America. ”The Tour”, is making a stop-over at the Shoreline Amphitheatre , Mountainview CA on the 15th of August 2012, Wednesday at 7:00 pm.
A band like KISS and Mötley Crüe can get away with not having a fancy name for their tour. Having their names up in neon lights is sufficient enough to draw in a multitude of rock music diehards. Thus, there’s no better way but to call their extensive 40-city US tour, than simply calling it “The Tour”.
There’s no stopping KISS from wearing the most famous make-up in the world. They’ve been rocking since 1979, and they keep their hard rocking beats kicking and those slick guitar riffs licking! Fire, smoke, blood, pyrotechnics, levitating drums… a true-blooded music spectacle is guaranteed for all. Yet, the make-up, the costumes, the special effects are just the tip of the iceberg. The music — above all else, is what makes KISS one of the greatest heavy rock and roll bands ever.
Their notoriety and devil-may-care attitude has often brought Mötley Crüe in the headlines. Yeah, they’re the ‘bad boys of heavy metal’ who seem to personify the sex-drugs-and-rock-n-roll lifestyle. Yet, with recognition such as “Top 10 Heavy Metal Bands of All-Time” from MTV’s list , Grammy nominations, among others…Mötley Crüe, must be doing something really good!
