Year after year after year, Live 105′s BFD has been rockin’ Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountainview, California. And every year, the bands have always been bigger and better, and the fans have grown larger and larger. 2013′s line-up promises, yet again, to take everything up a notch. This year’s headliners are definitely out of this world — 30 Seconds To Mars will lead the mainstage, along with Passion Pit, Silversun Pickups, Of Monsters and Men, Awolnation, PLUS a performance by a secret guest to be announced the day of the show! And as if these were not enough, dozens of indie bands will dish out intense performances on other surrounding stages that will sky-rocket your senses to another galaxy. If Live 105 has been the bedrock of modern rock radio. For years, it has been an annual tradition for Live 105 to take their rock programming live and in the flesh onstage. This annual music-concert style festival runs all day and almost all night with up and coming indie bands causing a commotion by day, and epic bands creating chaos at night. Since it first came onstage back in 1994, hundreds of bands commanded the mainstage, artists such as Beck, Green Day, The Pretenders, AFI, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The White Stripes, Blink 182, Hole, The Killers, The Strokes, 311, Third Eye Blind, the Foo Fighters, Panic at the Disco, The Offspring, Stone Temple Pilots and the Beastie Boys as well as older bands such as Duran Duran, Social Distortion and The Cure.
