Live 105′s BFD: Jimmy Eat World at Shoreline Amphitheatre

Come one, come all!  Live 105′s BFD annual music – concert festival will be rockin’ the Shoreline Amphitheatre again on May 19, 2013.  Headlining  the Bud Light Festival stage will be alt-rock, power punk band Jimmy Eat World.  And as if this was not enough, dozens of indie acts will dish out explosives set-lists, guaranteed to transform the venue into a headbangers’ playground.

Live 105′s BFD music – concert festival has been in business since 1994.  Year after year, they managed to assemble the hottest, the hippiest, the hardest rockin’ bands.  Artists such as Beck, Green Day, The Pretenders, AFI, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The White Stripes, Blink 182, Hole, The Killers, The Strokes, 311, Third Eye Blind, the Foo Fighters, Panic at the Disco, The Offspring, Stone Temple Pilots and the Beastie Boys as well as older bands such as Duran Duran, Social Distortion and The Cure, all conquered the stage.  Through the years, the festival just simply became a hard habit to break for rock afficionados.

Headliner act Jimmy Eat World has been around since 1993.  Their commercial breakthrough came in 2001 from the album ”Bleed American”, with the single “The Middle” reaching the number one position on Billboard’s  Hot Modern Rock Tracks chart; followed by another number one single “Pain”, from their 2004 album ‘Futures’.  Collectively, they sold over one and a half million records to date.
