The album Symphony and Metallica (S&M) was their live album with the heavy metal band, Metallica which was recorded on April 1999. It marked another success for the group as the album peaked at number 2 on the Billboard 200 and earned 5 times platinum status. The 8^th track, “No Leaf Clover” hang around the no. 1 position on the Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart for seven consecutive weeks. In 2010, the SFS produced its Mahler symphony cycle, which spawned seven Grammy Awards including Best Choral Performance for Symphony No. 8 and Adagio from Symphony No. 10.
