And, as you're standing in the crowd, lead singer Dan Reynolds wants you to have a look around, “It’s just a lot of people in a room together realizing they’re not alone in their feelings,” he said at the tour announcement. “I don’t necessarily need them to feel happy or sad or anything. I just want them to look around them and see that other people are also feeling something.”
Imagine Dragons have finally announced their forthcoming full-length studio album, Loom, due to drop in late June, it will then be followed by the bands' most extensive North American tour to date. Kicking off from the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden, New Jersey, this July, it will include stops at the PNC Bank Center in Holmdel, NJ, the Budweiser Stage in Toronto, The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Houston, and Red Rocks in Morrison, Colorado. Plus, of coarse, a stop here in Mountain View, California's Shoreline Amphitheatre on October 20th 2024.
Loom will feature 9 brand-new songs, including the first single to be released, “Eyes Closed.” A typical Dragons track, you can pick up the cadence just reading the lyrics. “I’m back from the dead, from the back of my head/Been gone and facin’ horrors that should never be said.” Turn the volume up really high, and listen to it right now, and see the video to go with it, down below.
