In 2022, Sierra Ferrel won Emerging Artist of the Year at the Americana Music & Honors Awards. At the time, she was well into becoming one of the biggest breakouts in the folk and bluegrass scene. Indeed she was. With her work on her fourth studio album Trail of Flowers, she landed well into the Billboard 200 and won Artist of the Year and Album of the Year at the 2024 Americana Music & Honors Awards. The following year, she won four Grammys including Best Americana Album for Trail of Flowers while her singles “American Dreaming” and “Lighthouse” also won awards.
