The girl group from Los Angeles was launched in 2003 by neo burlesque choreographer Robin Antin. The Pussycat Dolls was formed to aim for a more mainstream approach, originating as a six member group and released their debut single, “Don’t Cha” in 2005. The group moved on to becoming one of the most successful girl groups in the history of modern music, with multi platinum certiifcations, number 1 charting singles, and sold out tours across the globe. The group, even though only released two albums, sold over 50 million albums and garnered over three billion streams across music platforms. 

ABOUT LIL KIM

Considered the Queen of Rap, Lil Kim found immense success in hip-hop music, selling over 45 million records, and earning multiple platinum certifications. In 2002, she released a single “Lady Marmalade,” which she performed with Pink, Christina Aguilera, and Mya. The song won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals. Lil Kim’s amazing work like “Came Back For You” and “Magic Stick” also earned her Grammy nominations. 

ABOUT MYA

Grammy winning R&B singer-songwriter Mya is most known for her phenomenal hits “Case of the Ex” and “Lady Marmalade.” She has sold over 20 million records and earned a Grammy for her part in “Lady Marmalade.” Mya has released a total of nine albums, her latest being Retrospect, which is slated to drop in 2026.
