Rüfüs Du Sol’s summer tour in the U.S. is already making waves due to its impressive ticket sales. The Surrender Tour has barely started, and already, the trio is already seeing significant success. So far, the trio’s shows in the U.S. are in high demand – this may be the result of Rüfüs Du Sol’s recent win for Best Dance/Electronic Recording at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards.
The Group’s fourth album, Surrender, peaked at number 1 on Billboard’s US Heatseekers Albums and number 2 on the Top Dance/Electronica Albums charts. The trio has also released other notable albums, such as their debut record Atlas, which topped the Australian charts. Some achievements by Atlas include a platinum certification in Australia and an AIR Award for Best Independent Dance, Electronica Album. Rüfüs Du Sol continued to top the charts with the release of their sophomore album, Bloom. The album debuted at number 1 in Australia and was later certified platinum.
Rüfüs Du Sol is composed of Jon George, James Hunt and Tyrone Lindqvist. The trio first emerged in the music scene in 2010 and released their first EP, Rüfüs, in 2011. The group would later release one more EP, Blue, before dropping their debut studio album, Atlas.
